Upcoming – May Seminar (Truro)
On Saturday May 2nd, 2026 there will be a one day teaching seminar called Men of Confidence, taught by Dr. Steven McEvoy. Details to follow.
This is the date of our regular men’s Breakfast meeting, so the only fee is ( $10.00 ) as usual for your own breakfast, which will be at 8:30 AM. At 9:30 our speaker, Dr. McEvoy will start teaching, and the morning session will end at Lunch Break, which will be from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. Lunch is not provided. Please bring your own or order take-out from one of the many fast-food restaurants near by. The afternoon session will start at 1:30 PM and we will end 4:30 PM. Please plan to stay for the day to honor the Lord and our Speaker’s time.
This is a Teaching Event, so it is important to bring your Sword ( Bible) with you along with pen and paper. I have known Steve for many years and know that he has been given a wonderful Teaching gift from Holy Spirit. You will want to take lots of notes for personal review afterwards.
There will be time for personal prayer at the end of our meeting.
Steve does not charge for teaching the Gospel however he will receive a Love Offering. Please pray and ask Holy Spirit to determine what your love offering should be.

Dr. Steve McEvoy BIO
Dr. Steve McEvoy holds a doctorate in Leadership and Organizational Development and is a respected leader, coach, and teacher in both the marketplace and the faith community.
He co-founded Eprius Group with his son and business partner, Josh McEvoy, growing it into a large regional construction company known for integrity, quality workmanship, and strong leadership culture. They later expanded into the restoration industry through the Truro and Area PuroClean Restoration franchise, with a focus on excellence in service and care.
In addition to his work in business, Dr. McEvoy is the founder of Steve McEvoy Ministries. He has authored a variety of resources designed to equip and encourage believers in their walk with God and regularly teaches within both the Body of Christ and the marketplace.
Steve & his wife April have been married for 36yrs. Live in East Mountain, NS. They have two married children & two grandkids, Lily & Charlie.

I am writing this as a testimony to acknowledge Dr. Steve McEvoy’s teaching titled “Men of Confidence”. I have heard this teaching a couple of times now and both times it has radically increased my confidence in my relationship with my heavenly Father. Each time the Spirit within me was jumping with joy at the Truths he was sharing. I was delivered from false teachings and lies both times. Steve does a fantastic job explaining the scriptures and making them easy to apply to my everyday life. He is very detailed and humble in his teaching style and you will find yourself engaged very quickly. This message needs to be taught regularly and it’s good to hear it multiple times to counteract the number of times we’ve been taught wrong. It may be nothing you haven’t heard or believed before but very necessary to sit under on a regular basis. The way I pray has changed and my confidence in who I am, has blossomed from these truths. If you get the opportunity to hear Steve share, your confidence will grow! Praise The Lord!!

I believe Holy Spirit is asking us to do some homework. Our goal is to search the Scriptures and meditate on the gifts of the Holy Spirit given to each of us. Then pray and seek Holy Spirit to show us our Strongest gift that seems to stand out above the rest. Take notes on what you are hearing and be prepared to share at our next Men’s Breakfast. Also please bring your Bibles.

Next year’s Living Stones Men’s Ministry retreat will be Sept. 11th,12th,13th, 2026 at Camp Geddie in Merigomish, Nova Scotia.
We are pleased to have Pastor Gerry Bezanson, from Middleton as our weekend guest speaker. For those of us who know Gerry fishing is one of his favourite pastimes, so I expect he will have some great comparisons between the Natural and the Spiritual about fishing.

Prior to our Retreat I had a Living Stones Men’s Ministry T-Shirt made up. (see pictures below). Some of the men who attended our Retreat wanted to know how they could get one of these T-Shirts. I was told the price is 30.00 plus tax which adds up to $34.50 each upon receipt. If you want to have one, please contact me personally with your size and I will order one for you.
Men’s Fellowship Breakfasts
Men’s Breakfast fellowship gatherings are held monthly. Come and enjoy time with the men you know or the ones that you haven’t met yet. We have a wonderful time of prayer, good food, Praise and Worship along with a speaker to round out the morning. Also plenty of opportunity for individual prayer needs at the end of our meeting.

Men’s Retreats
Our retreats offer a time of refreshment and fellowship for all men who want to grow in their relationships with each other and the Lord. Weekends include prayer, praise and worship, testimonies, and teaching. Accommodations and meals are included in the package in a calming setting in the country near the shore. Pre-registration will be required.
