Another fantastic Men’s Retreat has now come and gone.
Thank you to our Guest Speaker; Pastor Gordon Grieve who taught on our theme “GO !” and what this means for all of us as to move from our comfort zones and GO as the Holy Spirit leads.
We enjoyed the Presence of the Lord throughout the whole weekend as we spent time with Him. The atmosphere was wonderful and many experienced the Blessing of Holy Spirit.
Our Praise and Worship Leaders, Jason Taylor, John Zinck and drummer Myles Zinck were amazing as they led us with the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
It was good to have Pastor Matt Carpenter (last year’s speaker) join us. An amazing man of God who we have come to know and appreciate.
Thank you to Stephen Croft who led out Communion Service on Sunday morning and Peter Hennigar our Treasurer who looked after the registration funds.
Last, but not least I want to thank Lorraine Write and her sister who fed 32 hungry men throughout the weekend. She commented “ They can sure eat” and they made sure nobody went hungry.
We have confirmed our dates for returning to Camp Geddie next year. Mark your calendars for Sept. 11th,12th,13th 2026.
I Praise God for our 2025 Men’s Retreat as I truly believe that our Heavenly Father enjoyed being with us. He is a good, good Father!
This year’s Men’s Ministry Retreat Theme GO is a continuation of last year’s Theme, Armed and Ready.
The word GO in the Bible, often signifies a divine calling or mission bestowed upon individuals by God. It represents a directive to step out of our comfort zones and embark on a journey that aligns us with God’s purpose. Many examples of Men who were called by God are found throughout His Word. They were activated on the Word GO.
We ask Holy Spirit to continue, guide, direct and position us individually and corporately in answer to His calling and divine purpose.
It is by no accident that God has chosen us to live on planet earth at this particular time in History. We need to listen, be trainable and obedient to Holy Spirit’s leading and instructions in the days ahead, carrying out His mandate and purpose for our lives.
During our weekend retreat we expect to be able to hear and discern Holy Spirit instructions preparing us to GO as directed by Holy Spirit.
Let us remember that He is the Leader and we are the followers.
Gordon Grieve will be the speaker at our annual men’s retreat and is excited to join us. Further details will follow in late June. Our location will be at Camp Geddie. More details coming soon.
We are also pleased to have our last year’s guest speaker, Dr. Matt Carpenter with us once again. Many will remember Matt’s Ministry throughout the weekend in 2024.
We are pleased to welcome Vincent Savard to our Men’s Retreat this year.
Vincent will be sharing his personal testimony and sharing as the Holy Spirit leads him. He will also speak about the Band of Brothers Boot Camp coming up in October at Bayside Camp.
Come and hear what God is doing through a man who is totally committed to the Lord’s work.

Vincent is an Evangelist and Minister in the Marketplace who loves the Lord. On Friday nights you will find Vincent at Youth Ministry, discipling young men.
Vincent has a beautiful wife Agnes who is also his business partner. Between them they have a 15 year- old beautiful daughter named Lahna.
